Who we are
Alba is beverage-program automation for fine-dining restaurants. The restaurant is our customer. We work for you — not for your distributors, and not for anyone who wants to buy your data.
What we handle
- Account details — your name, email, restaurant, and the team members you invite.
- Your operation — the beverage catalog, par levels, distributors, sales reps, and orders you set up or that Alba reads on your behalf.
- Sales data — the depletions Alba reads from your POS to know what sold and what is running low. We read sales; we do not write back to your POS.
- Usage — basic logs of what you and Alba did, so the audit trail is honest and we can fix problems.
How we use it
To run Alba for your restaurant — watch your stock, draft your reorders, talk to your reps, and answer your questions from your own numbers. That is the entire purpose. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with distributors, and we do not use one restaurant's data to benefit another.
The six promises
- Your data is yours. Export anytime in CSV. No lock-in.
- We sell to restaurants. Only restaurants. Distributors never see your data. We don't aggregate or resell.
- Read-only on your POS. We read sales. We don't write back.
- Nothing leaves without your tap. Alba proposes. You confirm. Always.
- An audit log of everything. Every action Alba takes is visible and traceable.
- Small team, named accountability. You have the founder's cell. That's the guarantee.
Who else touches your data
We rely on a small number of trusted infrastructure providers — for hosting, databases, and sending email and text — strictly to run the service. They process data on our instructions and never receive it for their own use. We will keep this list current as the product grows.
Distributors and reps
Your reps only ever see the orders you confirm and send to them — nothing about your stock, your sales, your costs, or your other distributors. The order is the only thing that leaves.
Keeping it safe
Access is restricted to the people running Alba, traffic is encrypted, and every action is logged. We are a small team and we treat your numbers the way we would want ours treated.
Your choices
Export your data anytime in CSV. Ask us to correct or delete it, or to close your account, and we will. Email giorgio@ai-alba.com.
Changes
As Alba grows, this policy will get more specific — including the governing law and the full list of providers. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date above and, for anything material, tell you directly.
