Reading a proposal
What each part of the proposal means and how to choose between A / B / C.
Open any proposal from your portal, or tap the link in the text or email Alba sends. The structure:
Header
- Distributor name
- Cutoff date + countdown (live ticking — when the cutoff arrives the proposal slips to the next delivery cycle)
- Trigger reason: how many critical, how many projected stockouts
Three options
Each option has:
- A letter (A / B / C)
- A short description ("Critical only", "Critical + Priority 1")
- Total bottles + total dollar value
- A pill marking the recommended one
- A pill if the option is below distributor minimum
- A pill if it's been auto-padded to hit minimum
Per-item breakdown (expand the "X items" caret)
Each item shows:
- Beverage name
- Quantity in case-aware format (e.g. "1 case · 12 btl")
- Cost per unit + line total
- A reason chip ("Critical · 1 left", "Below par · 4 left")
How to choose
- Smallest order that meets minimum and covers the criticals = pick A
- You're stocking up before a busy weekend = pick B or C
- The whole thing feels wrong = postpone or skip, retry next cycle
Pick by tapping a Confirm button in the app or portal, or reply with the letter by text.
